50 years old with 2 great kids. Was a former SWO (Navy Surface Warfare Officer). He came on a couple years after me. 17 years in a rough area, in the field his whole career, and he died doing the job he loved.

Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

Memorial service for Officer Chris Wilson, SDPD: Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 1000 hrs. The Rock Church, 2277 Rosecrans Street, San Diego, CA. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers, and thank an officer on his behalf.

Thank you. Mark (SDPD Ret'd)

Re: Another SDPD brother lost

is it my imagination but are more Police Officer's getting killed in the line of duty the past couple of years? I am talking out loud thinking that the unease of the economy is driving people into more desperate situations.

I am truly sorry for his family as I hate to see those that serve the community being killed.

May he rest in peace...

Rest In Peace.

Is is just me, or is San Diego getting more violent these days? I'm realllyyyy hoping it isn't border violence silently spilling over, and the politically correct pukes covering it up in Mexifornia.

Some of it is from border overflow, some of it is just the economy here in San Diego. The guy that they were going into arrest was an awarded for saving some lives as I think a Coast Guard. He got into Meth (a local Southern Kalifornia favorite thanks to the Hells Angels) and ruined his life as a drug addict. His family tried many many times to get him into rehab but he would not go. Anyone that thinks that drugs only effect those that take them are idiots.
