I've been using a 64MPR for the last two years to "hone" my fundamentals for high power. Depending on ammo it'll shoot one hole groups at 50 yards and not much worse at 100.
Tom Manners is building me a T4a stock that Chad Dixon is going to setup for me. Absolutely nothing wrong with the factory stock but I'm trying to replicate the feel of some of my center fire rigs. I am not competing with the MPR but I'd think it would be pretty much unbeatable.
ok a manners for the MPR i will be waiting on details, PLEASE
OP like i have said an still stick to my actions
CZ 455 manners stock(painted by short bus)
lilja hv barrl,
YO dave trigger
custom bolt work
cost $1125.00 not $800.00
now this dose not count scope, 20MOA base, rings, beading,
annie MPR 64 old one will stay with me forevery, paid $750.00(was a used gun)
MPR 64 new(to me still used but like new) picked up newyears $900.00 ( for sale by the way)
will the cz455 shoot as good as the annies NO may be at 50yd, but not past 100
as far as tact match use, not real sure how many are used at the tactical steel challenge
but safe to say over 50%, this is as true a tact match as we can shoot,(not a rimfire F class, or a benchmatch)
the apache, an chikin , will get you out of your comfort zone, an a good running rimfire is a must
now my 2 cents a annie mpr 64,copper, 40x,win52, sako quard,cz452/455, savage, 10/22,
will all get the job done,i just like the MPR better,
now before anyone jumps my SHIT, i have had or shot all above or seen how they perform.
not a SWAG here hope you find what you are looking for,
but get out there at some tact match an have fun
