Hey guys,
I just brought a Anshutz 1517 in .17 HMR. I want to put a scope on it. Soo... I am looking to grab a scope base. I did a search and all kind of random websites show up. Can anyone show me where to get accessories for this weapon?

a grooved, 11 mm rail drilled and tapped to accept a telescopic sight or a rear sight.

I am still undecided on a scope or a sight. If I want to use iron sights, where can I get them?

Re: Anschutz 1517 Scope Base

I bought a picatinny rail from rimfire technologies. I can't find it on their site right now, but you might give them a call. It is a pretty tall rail, but I put a 56mm scope on there, so it wasn't a big deal.

Re: Anschutz 1517 Scope Base

I have an extra set of Anschutz rings that I am willing to sell. If your interested send me a PM. I use the same set of rings on my Anschutz 2013 prone rifle and I can repeatedly clean targets using these rings. You definately want to purchase rings designed for the Anschutz rail, the rail spacing on the Anschutz is wider than regular 22 rifles.
