I would want to keep a gun in it all the time but might be just the ticket when your in questionable areas!

Looks like my knees would be hitting it all the time. Also looks awkward to draw, reaching through the steering wheel or around/underneath it at a bad angle. I'm all for people using what they want, everyone has different tastes...I just don't think this thing is such a good idea. Tell your boss to take his pistol in his firing had, and place it thumb side down underneath his opposite thigh. (if your a righty, place it under your left thigh, facing your door). He'll be surprised how comfortable this is, and fast to get to, and how cheap

Just friendly advice, but like I said, he can get whatever he wants.
