Rifle Scopes ANVS MA-14

Does anyone have one of these or have an opinion on them? I am looking at getting one in leu of a PVS-14 due to the cost differences. I have read on many forum websites and its received mixed reviews... was hoping to get more accurate advise from someone that actually has one or has used one here.

I'd skip it. I've owned 4 different night vision devices (and 2 Gen3 PVS-14s) - I'd say 95% of their ownership they sat in the safe. It's cool at first, and fun to use on occasion, but unless you have a BUNCH of rural land to use them on it's a waste of your $$$. Also, the prices have dropped like crazy and continue to do so. I paid over $6000 for my first 3rd Gen PVS-14...the last one was part of a group buy and I got in around $2600. Cool to have, but for most of us, it's just not practical. My next purchase will be a thermal device, as I can see some practical usage with that technology.
