I usally like to use H1000 or N560 in my 338LM but no one around here has any but one of the shops had some US869. So I'm just wondering if anyone here has used it and what you though of it.

Works well in my neighbor's rifle. ES is about 25 fps. We measure up to 4 grains light and trickle the remainder. He has a slight gain twist so his results won't directly transfer to yours.
Yes. On my 110ba 338lapua. It softened up my bolt lift issues but groups went from a less than stellar 1.5 MOA to an ultra crappy 3-4 MOA!
The 869 is an ultra slow burning, non temp stable ball powder. I had a 2 foot long muzzle blast out of my 26 inch barrel because the powder was still burning after the bullet had already left. There's a reason you still see it sitting on the shelves

I've used it with the 300 grain SMK's and the 250 Lapua Scenars. Works great. You'll be up around 101.5 grains for the heavies and 102.5 for the 250's
