I was just wondering if anyone has any info or just opinion on the following?

Any chance AI is planning a .300 win mag (or any other calibers) in a non AW platform? Basically a AE in 300 along with the smaller price tag. Ive realized I don't need the bonded action but would love a 300....

I have not heard of AI discussing a long action AE option.

I too think that would be a nice option as well.

I have not heard any rumors to indicate its in the works but as already stated Stacey is the best bet.

As a fall back plan I would suggest dropping a Badger long action into the AICS (or AX) along with a 2 stage trigger and a quality barrel. Assuming a LA AE would be ballpark of 3500.00 I think the components listed along with gunsmith costs would be close.
