Any experience with STR/Suarez Tactical Rifles?

Hey all, I just recently joined but have been lurking for awhile now. Just curious if anyone has done business with Suarez Tactical Rifles, or better yet own one? I have yet to come across any reviews and searching the forum archive I have come up empty handed.

I don't have any experience, but the owner posts here regularly and by all accounts is a great guy. Try searching this forum and you should turn up some stuff.

I have been emailing Ozzie at STR and he responds very promptly. I am going to use him for my first built in the next couple of months. We are waiting on the action from Stiller and then it is all a go. I'll let you know how it goes. I'm in Naples, FL and wanted a smith I could go to in person and I believe STR is on the East Coast of Florida. I plan to stop by and work out the final details of the built later this month. I let you know what I think.

I've spoken with Ozzie (STR owner, 'Hide handle is "STR") at length through PM's. He's been exceptionally courteous and prompt with communication, the posted pictures and range reports of his rifles on this forum are all top tier performers. I would love to own one of his rifles and hopefully someday soon I will be able to.
