Any FFL's here that could .....

Help me out with a small project here in ireland

As many of you may know the cops over here and me are always at constant loggerheads over my rights to use and own firearms. I was hoping to pick a fight with them recently when all my firearms came up for renewal of permits recently. However they disappointed and renewed all.

What I want to do is to attempt to test the laws here and bring in an AK or FAL OR similar type of semi auto rifle. The law says they aint banned just RESTRICTED...

I want if possible for any FFL here to give me a letter with a serial number on their letterhead so that I can submit it and attempt to obtain any of the above firearms. if I get the permit which i think I might I will buy the firearm in question and import it over here. If I dont then I wont be able to purchase it....

Any takers ?

Seriously though Eddieo, I truly hope that someone here helps you out with this. More power to you. If it ain't illegal, then it IS legal.

And if it IS legal, then they can't tell you that you can't. Giv'r. I'd sure help if I could. If I can, tell me how.

Anybody with an AK,FAL or similar that is willing to give me a note with the serial number would be ok as well.

Be careful they might just make a test case of you and Revoke your permit.

me, im only a law abiding citizen looking to increase my collection as far as the cops are concerned. (LOL) So far the shooters have brought 11 High Court cases and won 10.. The one we lost was lost by the shooter who wouldnt listen to the advice he was given. Im one of the few people now in ireland the proud holder of a restricted firearms permit... if im good for this one, who says that i cant have another.

I am just saying that i would hate to see you get into trouble and possibly loose your guns for being a Crusader. I would bet the Police Dept who issues the Permits would like nothing more than too have one less person owning a gun in Ireland. I don't think it's worth the risk butting heads with them just to prove a point.

I know what your saying;;;

3 times I have been to court with them on gun related issues and 3 times I have won

Got a seperate lawsuit against them now as it happens for assault on me by an over zealous cop. Got another lawsuit against them currently in the process of working its way through the waiting list for the Supreme Court.

I expect to win both because I know im in the right... Thats all i need... I know im in the right over the AK and will go to court again if I ahve to... if people like me dont stand up to them the biggest thing my kids will have to hunt with and/or protect themselves with is a slingshot....

Besides I love picking fights with them... keeps them on their toes.

A firearms dealer I know personally was refused the permit for his personal firearm... Logic defeats me here... I got mine, all mine because I dont take their shit.....

have you applied for an import licence from the DOJ? they may grant you the firearms licence but not the importation papers

its coming through a dealer mate of mine. he is organising that for me....

there are several ways of doing it. one is through a proofing house that will send the item to germany directly where it can come in through an EU country..

Im sure they (doJ) read forums like this so im not going to say too much in case i spoilthe party for them.

Keep up posted on this for sure. This is a hell of a story. I only wish there were more willing to step up to bat for their rights.

Germany seems to be the open door alright, Revenue read the forums in Ireland so im sure DOJ do, wouldnt they shit their pants if a couple of hundred applications like this were put in at the one time...
