I purchased it today and wound up beating it tonight. Overall it was not quite as good as I was expecting. It felt too much like the Battlefield games, and I am not a fan of them. The story was good, though, and I like how well the developers pulled off the sense of brotherhood present in the armed forces. Also, I really appreciate the note at the end of the game thanking all of America's service members, and the special attention called to the SF community. In my opinion that was the best part of the game.

I've heard good reviews of the game. I have a copy coming to me soon, although I have always been a Call of Duty fan. The military won't sell the new MoH to any service members because it hits too close to home, in a way. I'm excited to play! The Leave A Message trailer was awesome. It was just a trailer and it was pulling on my heartstrings, so the game (even if the gameplay is fantastic) will probably be a good emotional trip (like you said, good storyline.)
I have heard that it's very realistic as compared to some of the other games based on modern times. My buddy told me today they did an especially good job on the sniper rifles in game. So much so that any run-and-gunner (me) is going to be constantly pissed off during multiplayer because everyone's a sniper.

I thought the multiplayer sucks.
You can literally sit there with the cross hairs on someones torso and not get a hit. It takes 15 or 20 rounds out of an M4 to take someone down because they games so glitchy.
Havent played the campaign but I'll be getting rid of my copy pretty quick.

I got it. Its ok... but nothing like the Call Of Duty games. I hear that Black Ops is crazy good. It had better be since it will be the last one.

I'm waiting for Black Ops as well. I'll probably trade my copy in for credit towards Fallout: New Vegas when it comes out next week. Medal of Honor was good and I appreciate what they did, but there is a reason the Call of Duty franchise is on top.

I appreciated the greater degree of realism than other games. The Barrett M82A1 is finally an amputation weapon, and there is actually a time of flight for the bullet. The engagements also go from zero to about 250 or even 300 meters in one level, which from what I've read is how combat is over in the sandbox.
