Rifle Scopes Any good?

For a 223 DPMS 24" barrel 1:8 varminter, 300-600 yard range?

Got now on it a Leupold 6.5x20 50mm now but hate the plain crosshair reticule and the little knobs and have another rifle better suited for that scope.
