Any high voltage / relay / control guys out there?

As the title says anyone protection & control guys out there?

I work for a rather large transmission company in Texas, low and behold out parent company is going under and were are going to be sold / auctioned off. All the guys at work or eather shopping for something else or thinking everything will stay the same.

Anyway just checking in seeing what all is out there.

I'm not, my brother is. Relay tec, substation engineer and he's headed towards Arizona and New Mexico. He says there's a lot going on out there.

No problem Nate, were a larger outfit, there is no way they could keep the grid going without us. Looks like worse case is going to be name change, insurance, banking, uniforms, and possible pay freezes. The PUC in Texas has some teeth and arent afraid to kill a bad deal.


Guess a relay guy isn't that common of a job.
