I don't know if this is the right place to post, but I picked up this surplus ammo from Cope's, 7.62x51 German surplus, it has a lead core but does anyone know what the silver is? It is soft. Thanks,Dean

ON some of the surplus ammo I have they used to use a copr-nickel bullet. Its just what is made of or what its coated with. It's good to shoot so have some fun
