Any New Actions at Shot?

yeah how many of them are used in the wild? even compared to an Origin or Impact which arent 10 years old

I am more interested in innovation not what is used in the wild. This action offer nothing new, Savage and Bighorn offered interchangeable bolt heads several years ago. It appears that you have some sort of attachment to this action so I doubt I will sway you.

To have something that is innovative, you first need to have a problem that needs a new design to fix.

What needs to be improved upon that isn't covered by a 700 clone? or are you looking for the new shiny? which most of us do.

there is Teds new action, thats completely out of the box with the pivoting bolt handle to pry a case out of the chamber.... but moving parts are a weak spot, so it will be interesting to see the longevity of them.

While I generally agree that moving parts are a weak spot, there's also an argument that could be made that by isolating different functions (unlocking and primary extraction), the end result is more robust.

I'm not necessarily saying that that's the case (I'm no engineer and have zero experience with finite element analysis or any other discipline of the sort), but I can see how that might be the end result. I mean, machines don't get much more simple than a lever (though simplicity doesn't inherently imply robustness; a basic example would be using an empty cardboard box as a pivot for a lever trying to move something heavy... simple, though not robust).

So...what is this action have going that the BigHorn Origin didn't already cover at the same price point from a well know and respected company with AMAZING customer service and interaction?

It's marketing. Once you have sold enough of one item, it's time
to put out another pretty face and it will sell.
Hard to reinvent the wheel. Theirs nothing wrong with 90% of the actions out now.

maybe remage barrels
Remage barrels are harder to find than Savage small shank pre-fits (fewer suppliers), and they don't have any functional difference besides thread pitch. The Nucleus/Origin also have shouldered pre-fits readily available from a wide variety of smiths, so I'm not sure how this is really some kind of advantage over using Savage small shank threads.

Ah. Lol sorry. I guess I haven't been paying attention nucleus issues. My main problem with the nucleus was was the the safety was essentially a trigger safety. Nothing wrong with them I just prefer a during pin safety also win 70/ai or really going all the way back to the Mauser 98.
