Exciting Week at Camera Land
I don't know where to start as so much is happening.

I had a good convo with Josh yesterday, and he said they're about to change things up a bit to help clear out the backlog and speed up the prefit process. We'll see.
Theyve already put a huge dent into the backlog. Its almost cleared. Josh is switching some shit up to keep it from happening again.

Doug fixed my ordering screwup ( I screwed the pooch, not CL) before shipping the next day.
Fact is with the 6 hour TZ difference, the correct scope was sent out before I woke up. 3 days after order placed it is in my paws 4911 miles away from CL.

Camera land is old school you have to call them for the best price.
Also, phone calls aren’t subject to Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) agreements.

Did you call in or what? Mil discount as in active or vet? I always feel guilty asking for that and usually don’t...
Just looked and they don’t even have it listed. They must have sold out. I couldn’t believe it either and bought one just because.
As for the mil discount, it’s the vet one. I called them and got my account set up with dd214. All discount prices are shown when I’m logged in so I don’t have to worry. EuroOptic CS is the best there is IMO, so I would reach out if you haven’t done so.

I have placed nearly 50 orders with Optics Planet in the past four years. They frequently earn their reputation as being "Backorder Planet", but in the past I was able to overlook it due to better than competitive pricing with the readily available coupons. Now that they are charging sales tax for California (yes, I know it really isn't their fault) they just aren't worth the hassle anymore.
Had a good experience last time so I’m hoping my luck continues. Luckily it’s not a have to have right away purchase so I rolled the dice.
