Switch - on Vodka - blah - I'm a Belvedere snob, nothing has topped it yet. Have you tried it? You may never go back to Tito or any other brand...there are a few better but way more costly than Belvedere.

My g/f introduced me to Belvedere, it's worth the $35 a bottle.

That whisky looks good- send me a bottle and I'll get back to you too

Re: Any of you guys try this yet?

I heard on the local news last week the guy I've been getting my "small distillery" goods from was arrested... again. Next time I find him again, I'm going to have to lay in a good supply. His "peach" stuff is wonderful. You can't buy anything like it. Not quiet as good as Crown Royal. But very good and half the price.

Not a fan of ketel one?

Re: Any of you guys try this yet?

As to vodka's, My favorite is Ston. Pravda is better than Grey Goose, and Belvedere/Level is about the same. 360 has really good flavor as well. Ketel One is good as is Van Gogh. The Tito's was recommended by a local friend and well, it's not bad, but the others are tons better(maybe Dave needs to be smacked a bit). I only buy vodka to make Screwdrivers, Lemon Drops, or Kamakazis. If I could get Panty 6 to try the really good grav lox, and tasty caviars avaialable and not the crap she was given years ago, I would have more use for some real clean triple stilled stuff.
GIN on the otherhand makes two of my favorite drinks, the dry martini, shaken of course, and the Blue Meanie(yes, Blue Sapphire is used) The best gin is probably Plymouth or Junipero. As to being a snob on any liquor, well I have been called a wine snob because I only like Sonoma County wines, especially the old vine Zins so I'll take that.
I do of course buy quality anything and do not partake of the rotgut found on the bottom shelves of my mispent youth

Switchblade,

I only recently got turned on to drinking anything better than Evan Williams.

My favorites as far as whiskey goes are, Pendelton,Crown Royal,Wild Turkey and of course Makers Mark(Thanks 7mmRM!).

The flavor of this stuff is definatly unique! And it's as smooth as a babys ass!

Cinch,

I'll bring a bottle when we go fishing!

Re: Any of you guys try this yet?

Hmmmmm, I need to find out what Bourbon's are in the two year old range to compare with this one. That's less age than my Jim Beam Black(8), but may be close to my standby Bulleit
Maybe Wild Turkey 101 or one of the others I see from time to time, but my shelf usually only has the WIld Turkey, BUlleit, or Jim Beam Black as the daily stand by's. All else is higher quality
