Any one ever used, or own a Wiha torque vario adj. driver?
they are 2 models in/lbs.
the 28506 is 10-50in/lbs.
the 28508 is 20-70in/lbs.

I was thinking of getting one. Just wanted some input, by some one that has used or owns one. also, witch one 10-50in/lbs or 20-70in/lbs.
or should I just get a Borka tool?

Thanks, for looking

From what I can make out, on the web site.
It comes with a small drive bit holder(4mm)
You would have to buy, a 1/4" drive bit holder.
It also, comes with a torque setter.

I've had the 10-50 for several years. It's good stuff!
Remind me and I'll bring it next time we shoot.

Re: Any one ever use, a Wiha torque driver?

What about the Borka tool?
how does the torque driver set up, compare to the Borka tool set up?
The Borka, seems to have a wider range of sitting.

sorry, just trying to make the right buy!

Lobo,
the Borka looks pretty slick.
It's got the 50-70 range that my Wiha doesn't have, but it still goes down to 15 for ring screws.
It'd be a lot easier to tote around too!

Re: Any one ever use, a Wiha torque driver?

Yes, It has a wide range of torque sittings, and is compact.
But, I have never put my hands on one. And as you know fw707
their ant one for a hundred miles of here!
I still, want to look at your Wiha driver. I guess, I will go from their!

If, anyone has any input, on their use of the Borka tool use.
It would b nice to here about.

Yep, I got this order and already shipped it, thank you very much. But please, do not call it Broka, it's Borka. "Broka" sounds like something real bad to me...And make sure you read user guide and watch instruction video on Youtube before using the tool for first time.

kortik,
if you'll go back and read the entire post you'll see that Lobo spelled "Borka" correctly (5 times) before the typo that you saw fit to correct publicly.
Not a very nice way to treat somebody that just laid a $100 bill in your hand, in my opinion.

In my opinion, I was just joking...

It was an obvious typo, I know that.

But I really, really do not want to be known as Broka, even for the reason related to simple typo, it just sounds to me like something "is broken", you know...

I got to stop joking, I know that too.

Re: Any one ever use, a Wiha torque driver?

I'm sure it was a typo. Because, it was sure not a lack of
Education! He has 2 batchler degrees and a masters in mathematic.
He also spekes 2 langeuages, and does singe language as well.
As far as The typo, 90% of the people would of never noticed it.
I think, it should have read more like this " Thank you for your order
Hope you enjoy our product. "

That's just how I see it!

Re: Any one ever use, a Wiha torque driver?

Gentlemen,

I'm very happy that LOBO chose to purchase my tool and I'm sure grateful to him for his business. This is not a joke, in case you have doubts.

Right now, I'm standing against the wall and banging my head real hard as a self-imposed punishment for my lack of understanding how to treat a customer with respect. I hope to be O.K. in the morning, but if not, so be it.

The last paragraph is a joke, but it is the last one I feel I can afford if I want to stay in business.

Thank you for spanking me.

Re: Any one ever use, a Wiha torque driver?

kortik,
I got to see Lobo's new Borka wrench last weekend, and it's certainly deserves the great reputation it has here on the Hide!
I'll be picking one up for myself shortly.

I just wanted to let you know I never had an issue with your product, just your manners!

I'm a professional engineer, licensed by State of Michigan, so I do not have manners. It's either yes or no for me. Everything in between is just some unrelated fun.

Re: Any one ever use, a Wiha torque driver?

The Borka is a great product!! I have used others and the Borka finds its way in my kit 99% of the time. Its light weight, durable, and plain out works.

If you own a precision rifle you owe it to yourself to have one of these for your rifle.

Kortik is also a good guy!!

This product is highly recommended!
