I seen a clip on youtube from "good morning america" or what ever that morning show is.. the clip was from a 9/11 thing that i was watching where this couple where the first people to get the digital angle chip implanted into them because basically they are scard of ??? terrorists i guess.

so just curious if any one else has done this ?

Luckily, if You watched Ahhnold's Mars movie, all it takes is a wet towel around the head to render them useless. I'm wearing mine right now. Bear Grylls I'm pretty sure will urinate on his towel, then eat a handful of insects. No reason... other than He's a hardcore sumbitch.

before my situation with my last employer they talked about chipping and at a local hospital they also had a thing in the paper about chipping.

i dont even use a debit card so going to the chip is uneasy, chip in your hand then scan your hand its like a debit card and a medical card all in one. not really sure how i feel about that

I have an implanted pacemaker/defibrillator that uses RF to communicate weekly with the VA Electrophysiology lab half a state away. There's a 'base station' in the bedroom that's connected to a land line, and it interrogates my implant every Tuesday morning at 3AM while I'm sleeping. It uses a NASA-dedicated RF frequency. I hove no other use for my landline. It has enough range to reach between units anywhere on my property. For me it's a high tech "I've fallen and I can't get up" with cardiopulmonary resuscitative capabilities.

If some want to be Neo-Luddites and turn their backs on the good potentials inherent in these technologies, fine with me.

I read a book last week called "The Gift of Fear", and in this book he talks about how the medica promotes the violence happening to you, otherwise how could they get you to watch and buy stuff from the commercials.

But in reality, think about the odds of a terrorist attack happening to you.

Think about it.

Lets do some math here and use high numbers of people killed in terrorist attacks:


5000 say..
5000 divided by the number of Americans, what 340 mil?

5000\340,000,000=??

.00000147 chance of getting killed by a terrorist attack.

I'm not worried about my baby stroller in a recall because it might come apart if hit by a train.
I'm not worried about safety recall on a vehicle because I have it checked regularly (Not really I do it myself).
No way no how is someone sticking a chip in me except my buddy ET.

EDITED: Greg - if you are cool with that chip then that's a great way to use technology.

Ya it was insane, this girl was on that good morning america show and she said because of all the terrorist attacks her and her family where so afraid they all got the rfid digital angel chip, i was going to the gym at that time and as i was doing the virtual bike machine i watched it and almost fell off the bike i was so shocked.

the aero/space shop i worked at was talking about ( before I was "fired") going to the rfid chip and mandatory flu vaccines every season, I almost passed out
