I'm also interested in hearing if anyone has anything to say about it. I was a little put off when there was only one model and it had thumb safeties. Also no interchangeable back straps. I have heard Apex is producing a 22lr conversion for the m&p though...

A buddy of mine got one a few weeks ago. It's pretty nice.
Really, it's an upsized P22. The mags stagger the rims of the casings the same way, the barrel assembly looks identical, but a little longer.
It seemed to shoot pretty good, but wouldn't feed the second round from the magazine reliably.
If I had an M&P9/40/whatever, I'd probably pick one up. I like that it's a full-sized pistol.
