Need someone to help me get a safety detent and spring.
Took my 12 and 13year old boy shooting. I had my 938 slide off
Cleaning and the 13year old pushed the safty up on the rec. and
the detent and spring went off in to the thick woods and grass.
He did not tell me till I was going to put it back togeather. So,
It's gone!
Need help getting it back running.

It looks like alpine44 will get your parts for you, but for future reference you can call Sig Sauer and order the parts direct. With a little luck, a short explanation of the events, and a polite manner Sig Customer Service might even send those the parts free-of-charge.

Unfortunately, the Pro Shop did not stock the parts needed and could not get them. They are limited to what they can stock/sell but they also suggested the customer service route.

Great customer service on their part. I've been tempted on purchasing one of the 226's with the SRT triggers for quite some time now after handling them just about everytime I'm at a firearms store for the past year.

Help stimulate the economy - buy a P226 (or two)!

Just do it. P226s' are great guns: Accurate, ultra-reliable, and comfortable in the hand. The first Sig I ever bought was a P226 (back in the day when they were all West German made). Foolishly, I sold it to a friend (who still owns and shoots it). P226s' have always been sweet shooters, but they're even better with the SRT trigger. I replaced the P226 with a pair of West German P228s' and had SRT triggers installed in both.
