I know we have more ladies on this site than just myself and a couple others. Anyone else out there? I am a frequent reader, seldom poster, and think (hope) others may be the same. Love steel target/unidentified distance. Primary competitor, encourager and supporter of habit is the husband. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

I've been shooting for a few years - mostly handguns and some rifle at 100 yards or less. My husband got me interested in shooting.....and now it's my favorite hobby!
I'm interested in learning more about long distance precision shooting. So I've been reading this forum quite a bit lately - tons of great info - and I finally decided to sign up.
Anyway, just checking in from eastern Kansas and wanted to say "hi farmchick".
It's nice to see another lady on here!

Awesome! Good to see more of you all...I need to be checking on the Hide more often. Just shot at the Kettle Falls WA steel challenge and there were 4 females of the group. I want to be treated the same as the rest, but it is nice to know others out there enjoy shooting and might also struggle with some of the gear designed for 200#, 6ft + dudes.
I don't need it to be pink...just need it to fit correctly. Have an Eberlestock tactical X3 pack for gear. What do you use?

I shoot matches with my husband a couple times a year. I mostly just take hand-me-downs to enable my husband's habit. I have an FN SPR chambered in .260 that we just painted purple last weekend.
