Any place to shoot in Kansas?

Hello fellas,

I live in eastern kansas about an hour south of KC. Are there any places to shoot 1000 yards around? What about F-Class matches even?

You should check out Big Piney Sportsmans club in MO. They only go to 800 but have alot going on.

Central Kansas Gun Club in Hutchinson goes to 600. Mill Creek Valley Rifle Club just east of KCK goes to 500. I know of no 1000 yard ranges open to the public in Kansas.

here in topeka there is a private spot that has matches that are open to the public once a month. limited to 300y. they have shotgun and pistol ranges and do cowboy and ipsc. its capitolcitygunclub.com and in horton about an hour north there is a public open 2 sundays a month. 100y and pistol tange too.

We have 600 yard prone matches every month and 1000 yard matches a couple times a year at Red Castle Gun Club near Tulsa, Ok. Email me if you want details

KLETC used this location for our sniper cert training. Excellent setup but only goes out to 600. Can provide some pictures I took during training if requested.

Towards the end of February, Big Piney Sportsmans Club is hosting a sniper match, i'm likely to attend as long as it's not going to be raining or snowing. Might try to go down on Saturday and shoot the rimfire sniper match, and 50y benchrest matches as well.
