Hi there, are there any precision shooting courses being provided in the NW? Secondly can someone recommend shooting ranges for long distance shooting near Portland, OR or Vancouver, WA?

check out Caylen with Magpul Dynamics. They do alot of training in the Yakima, WA area. He has a post going somewhere just cant remember exactly where.
go to the user list and type "caylen" and he will come up. I took his course a year ago. If you want details of my experience pm me. Nothing but good to say about him and his program though.

Guys I tried the above mentioned places, it seems most of the classes are now moving south for the fall and winter. Thanks for your input.

Douglas Ridge has a 1000 yard range that is open on Thursdays.

There's a long range shooting group that meets Tuesday nights at tri county gun club in Sherwood, or. I think its at 6pm.

They only go out to 600 yards. So if you want to shoot further Douglas would be the better choice.

A reasonably priced training place in the nw is OTS on target solutions. They have a few free clinics at tri county. And have classes in eastern Oregon.
