Any reason to dump a Greyboe to Manners T5?

Currently have a Grayboe Ridgeback, Its a great stock but I keep seeing the Manners T5 on sale. I really liked that stock when I played with one a few years ago. When I bought the Greyboe I couldn't find the T5 anywhere.... Would I be gaining anything? Both stocks are comfortable for me and the Greyboe as it sits makes me fairly happy though I really don't care for the Mlock on it....

The T5A is the most comfortable stock I've ever used.

Yup, hands down the most comfortable stock I've used as well. Easy to carry with the thumbhole too. Sometimes I find myself not using the thumbhole when shooting, just placing it on the side, but other times I'll use it. Great versatility.

They were both roughly the same price, guess I may need to see if I can unload the grayboe... I just really liked the manners....

Grayboe stocks are every bit as rigid and stiff. They do not flex.

@FarmallA if you are comfortable with your Grayboe stock then keep it. You wouldn’t be upgrading, you would just be swapping stocks and losing money. That was the rational me speaking which I ignore often. The other part that I listen to more often says get what you want. I buy, sell, and trade away tons of good equipment just to try other things because it is not the toys you own that matter, but what you got to play with.

Its the barrel flexing not the stock. The renegade and ridgeback do not flex

Have you locked the gun in a vice and put two dial indicators (one on bbl the other on the stock) to measure which one deflects more?

Probably need to add another set of indicators (top rear of receiver above the rear action screw and on the rear action screw) to see if it’s the stock, or the action screw is stretching.

The stock I am sure has a minuscule amount of flex as well, but the barrels flex no matter how thick. Im out
