Any regrets bead blasting action?

I am building a trainer and I'm not really up for dropping the extra money to have it coated. I have a couple of factory actions that came blasted and they look fine years later but it does not seem like that is a good comparison to what I am considering.

For those that have bead blasted custom SS actions, any regrets? What size media and how much air pressure did you use?
