Any reliable info on NF's 5.5-22x56 FFP?

Does anyone have a contact within NF's ranks regarding the above scope?

From my research there was hearsay about it coming out in 2009 from that years shot show in Vegas (whether or not this was indeed stated I don't know).

From the "Beast" forum posts and LL's info (I dont know what makes him an authoritive figure on this topic which I mean absolutely no disrespect) it looks like I'll have to wait untill a little after the shot show if it's going to come out early next year.

I know Germans make great things but if the original inventor (Dr Dennis) still has some say I know Aussie ingenuity (like metal storm) will be pushing the envelope.

Sounds like an uneducated perspective but just a little bit of patriotic pride coming out.

He's the owner of the site, a professional rifle instructor, and one of the more knowledgeable people in the field. I've seen some of his videos, and I've chatted a bit with him at the Cup and listened to his explanations of the finer points of precision shooting.

If there's an authoritative figure on the topic, trust me, he's one of them. He's also got pretty close relationships with a lot of manufacturers that give him sneak peeks and ask for his input on the direction they are heading in.

I've yet to try something he says and have it be bullshit.

Lawn thanks for that. As I said I wasn't trying to belittle anyone, I didn't know. I'm glad the forum has "an in" bridging the gab between industry and consumers and he has weight (credit) behind what he says.

I feel a little more enlightend on the topic of the beast.
