Any reviews on the bushnell banner mil dot 40 mm?

Re: Any reviews on the bushnell banner mil dot 40 mm?

Where are you seeing the 6-24x40 for $80? I know the 3-9 can be found for that price but not the 6-24. From what I've read on the 6-24 Banner its a nice scope for a trainer. My decision was between that and a Mueller 4.5-14x40. They both have similar reviews and are said to be really nice on the rimfires. Banner was pushing me away just because its a 16.1" scope, doesn't have visible tactical turrets, and has no sunshades available. Probably stupid reasons to shy away from the scope but why not buy what fits the wants right?

I use a 6-24x40 Bushnell Banner with visable target turrets and a firefly mil dot reticle on my .17. Cost about $200. I love it, and it's not the first one I've bought. Great clarity and quality built. Very hard to compete with. You can see a better pic of it on my site in my sig. I would definitely recommend it.

My Tasco 6-24x42mm is supposed to be made by Bushnell and is around $80. I would really like to compare it to the Banner as mine gets less sharp out past 18x. Turrets are repeatable and the AO works fine anyway. I'll see how it does this summer at 200 yards.
