Any thoughts or comment on B&C Medalist

He is 6'3" and I am 5'7" and I, as well as him, have found it to be very comfortable to shoot. I think it is a great low cost alternative to some more expensive stocks. I would not hesitate to get one.

Re: Any thoughts or comment on B&C Medalist

I just placed a order for one, should be here wendsday to go on my Remington SPS Varmint in .223 can't wait either. For 224.37 shipped I don't think you will hear me complaining either.

Re: Any thoughts or comment on B&C Medalist

I just put a new SPS-V in one. Haven't shot it yet but seems like a very good stock for the money.

Edit: Shot it today and am still very pleased with my purchase.

I have a Light Tactical for my Remy 700 SA. Works really well, especially for the money. The only criticism I have to give it is I don't care for the grip shape. That's personal preference though.

All-in-all it rates a thumbs up from me.

Really like mine. It made my Rem 700 a consistent 1/2 MOA gun. I don't think you will go wrong with a B&C stock, especially for what they cost.

Don't mean to jack the thread but how do they compare to the HS Precision stock? I have a .308 5R w/ HS Precision stock and wanted to change it.

I'm planning on a McMillan but was considering the B&C stock as a quick fix.

Love mine. Highly recommend Stocky's Stocks.

Re: Any thoughts or comment on B&C Medalist

Love mine. I have a stevens and I did a bit of sanding on the rear tang to completely float it. Nothing 20min with a dremel couldn't fix. Greatly increased my accuracy over my tuperware stock.

Good Luck,
Merritt
