Any tips for reloading for big gasser?

I have an 18" AR10 that I would like to reload for. Going with 175SMK's and some OTM's. I am pretty sure I do not want them too hot. Are there any good standard loads that I could start with?

Ahhh ok. I think I have some 4064 laying around. Any advice for Vargat? I got freaking pounds of Vargat!!!

Yea Varget is awesome. I'd start at 42.0 and work up. Check out the reloading depot. What mags are you running?

My mags are all over the map, but I will probably run the P-Mags. I am not sure if they are internally longer width wise than the HeXmags I have been running. If you have a suggestion for mags please let me know. Out here in Cali we are kinda limited.

I run ASC mags which allow a longer COAL. Have been good for me.

I run 44.1gr Varget (lapua brass) with the 175gr SMK (20" Barrel/supressed) had to detune the gas a bit (adjustable gas block)- runs and shoots great

I run H4895 in my AR-10. Works great
