I am heading there tomorrow and am going to go to Squaw Valley and Northstar a bunch of times. Just wondering if anybody has ever went there and how awesome it was? I have never went to a huge resort, just the biggest and baddest that Michigan has to offer.

Yea, I went a while back when I used to knuckle drag, and Squaw Valley had just allowed us there. They built a pretty decent terrain park. But that was damn near 10 years ago. Like Buttripper said, nothing beats skiing all day, they getting hammered and losing all your money across the lake..

If you are gonna spend the money to go from Michigan to Tahoe, just stop in Utah for much better snow and skiing.

I have liven in both Carson City and Salt Lake and although there is the gambling aspect on the Nevada side the snow absolutely sucks. It is called sierra concrete for a reason.

Essentially, do you want to ski/snowboard or do you want gamble.

(shhh don't tell too many people but there is plenty of drinking and partying to do at both locales and I would pick Utah girls any day of the week)

I arrived today in Reno. Flew over Lake Tahoe on the way in and it looked great. They have been receiving some snowfall. I can't beat this price on this trip though. My friend lives in Reno, so that is free. And he was able to snag me 3 day passes for Northstar, and 1 for Squaw Valley. All at no charge. So as of right now, I have next to nothing rapped up in this trip. We might wait until Monday to go boarding though so we don't have to deal with the weekend crowds.
