Anybody know twist on tc encore prohunter .223

My dad just bought a 24" .223 Remington tc encore prohunter barrel to add to his arsenal and the guy who sold him the new barrel wasn't sure. I'd say 1:9 or 1:8. But not sure. Some info would be great as he plans on reloading for this.
Thanks. Ps the barrel has flutes about halfway down the barell if that helps. and is stainless steel

Get a cleaning rod with a mop or a jag with a tight fitting patch. Run it through and mark 12 inches off on the rod. Count turns the rod makes in 12 inches... there is your barrel twist.

There is probably a spec published. But this is the fast way to check it at home.
