Lots of folks bed one piece rails. I do not use 2 piece rails. A good bedding job can usually eliminate irregularities from sloppy receiver milling or really usually finishing. M700?

I have a 2 pc on my Savage .308. NF 20 MOA. I have a little more adj for windage on one side but seem to be allright for what I need it for. I don't know if it's the drilling or not but its not too bad.
