Anyone anneal with a Fluxeon Annie

I love my Annie.

For 223 I center the base of the neck, for my 6xc I put the middle of the shoulder in the middle, for 3006 I put the base of the shoulder.

I test going progressively deeper until the neck and shoulder tempilaq both turn clear at the same time. If you center it on the neck the neck will turn way faster than the shoulder so you need to center the shoulder more to even it up. It’s a bit of a sliding scale but the neck will always turn first as there is much less material there.

The Annie does a great job. Spife has a lot of good info on using it here on the Hide. My ES's are now often single digit and the accuracy difference between annealed and non has proven itself to me at least. Imho.

@spife7980 Did you find any other solvent besides the (expensive) Tempilaq solvent to remove the Tempilaq ? I've tried Acetone, brake cleaner, Xylol, etc and nothing seems to cut it.
Thx

I was just looking at one of these. Been looking at many different annealing machines and this one is looking good.

Anyone try the Annie with the giraud? Was looking at this combo.

Thanks chad
