Hello All,

NOOB here, looking for anyone's experience with a company named Top Notch Top Ends.

I have an upper on order with them, and am wondering if anyone in here has had any dealings with them.

My order with them is for a Yankee Hill .300 AAC complete upper.

Just looking for any experiences.

Respectfully,

Chris

I emailed them just recently regarding wait time and current prices on their products. I wasn't sure if the info listed was accurate. They responded to me quickly. I will be ordering a 6.8 YHM upper from them once my Mini Sass arrives.

It has Arrived TNTE YHM .300AAC upper

Received my YHM upper receiver from Top Notch Top Ends this afternoon. I will say, I am very impressed. Everything as ordered, and test fired. I was getting frustrated with the long wait time, but that is not their fault. Supply Chain is to blame, in current times.

.300 AAC YHM Upper, with a WMD Nickel Boron BCG. Thoroughly impressed, will get her to the range after work tomorrow.

SO.....for anyone that has placed orders with TNTE, or are thinking about doing so, it will be worth the wait for sure!

I emailed Patrick the owner several times in the past few months, and even changed my order (original was 5.56) to .300 AAC, and he was a pleasure to work with. Don't get frustrated if they do not answer phone calls, trust me they will get back to you within a few days at the latest!

Will be doing business with them again for sure, and will highly recommend them to my friends.

Your BUIS are on backwards...

LOL, my BUIS were on backwards! LOL, have put em on right. NOOB move.

For madppcs, the wait was a little longer in my case, as I had changed orders 1/2 way through the wait from a TNTE 5.56 custom upper to a YHM Spectre .300AAC order. I "fell into" a good deal on a SIG M400, and had no need for 2 rifles in 5.56.

So, timeline was something like this, won auction Chrismas Eve on Gunbroker, in February I changed the order to the .300AAC. So, 4 1/2 months approximately, would have been faster had I not changed my order.

They are very easy people to deal with. Keep in mind, they are a small business, and market times are awful right now. I believe that their prices are "fair", comparitievly (sp), to the prices some others are charging.

Ive been waiting 5 months so far and I dont see it coming anytime soon. Im sure they have good products but I wouldnt know. I was save the hassel and go some where.

I had a minor issue, I was reluctant to post about at first. My lower was built by me. The upper by TNTE. When I shot the gun the first time, I noticed that the bolt would not lock open on the last shot.

I called Patrick, from TNTE, and he gave me some advice. I had a STAG Arms buffer tube/spring/buffer and stock.

I was told that the .300AAC is such a low pressure load, that it is not uncommon for the issue I was having. I ordered (ON TNTE's suggestion), a WOLFF reduced power recoil spring, and a WOLFF upgraded extractor spring.

Patrick from TNTE guided me through this minor issue, with great customer service.

Obviously, it was not the UPPER it was my STAG springs.

Took it out this weekend, and was printing consistent sub MOA groups at 100 yards. I was also hitting the steel at 300/200 consistently with it also. This was with factory ammo, cannot wait to get some handloads thru it, and see what she is really capable of!

Probably put 120 rounds through it, not one jam, and the bolt locked home every time after the last round in the mag.

I would have taken pics of the groups, but was primarily down at the range for a 300 yard challenge with my .308.

It is an AWESOME shooter. Knowing what quality you receive from TNTE first hand, I would gladly wait 6 months for another. As soon as I can save some more money, I will be purchasing another upper from them.
