I was skeptical but tried it and love it. I buy my coffee from the same roaster the upgraded guy uses and really dont buy into the mold thinking.

Start with 1 cup (8 oz.) filtered water, just off the boil.
Measure 2 1/2 heaping tablespoons freshly ground Bulletproof® Upgraded™ Coffee beans (approximately 2 rounded tablespoons per 6 oz. water) and brew strong black coffee using your favorite coffee brewing method. (Why this is important)
Pour in 1 teaspoon Bulletproof® Upgraded™ Brain Octane™ or Bulletproof® Upgraded™ MCT Oil (build up to 1-2 tablespoons over several days).
Add 1 tablespoon grass-fed, unsalted butter or ghee (build up to 2 tablespoons or much more over several days).
Mix in a blender for at least 20 seconds until the drink is frothy and looks like a creamy latte without a film of oil on the surface.

I use espresso, coconut butter and grass fed butter.

It's very tasty, but you'll crap yourself if you mix it too rich the first couple times...
Several guys on another gun related forum drink it and say they don't get hungry for quite some time after drinking it, and have crazy energy...

This only works if you are in ketosis. Meaning you have removed all carbs from your diet, and your body is now running on Fat as opposed to glycogen. This is really good for diabetics. I know one Type 2 diabetic that has lost weight, reduced cholesterol, and reduced his meds including insulin.

A few tablespoons of fat can tide you over for hours.

Coconut oil and fat from grass fed beef as well as egg yolks from free range chickens are very healthy for you weather you are using a Keto style diet or not. The MCTs will be easily used for energy if on zero carbs but adding some fats to a meal with carbs slows down the digestive and gives the carbs a seemingly lower glycemic index thus lowering the insulin response which is a key in weight loss and keeping diabetes at bay.
I have no clue about the coffee cause I don't drink coffee at all but plenty caffeine with breakfast low in carbs will give you plenty energy
