Anyone Else get the VCS (veteran canteen services) "United For Equality" Email This Morning at 0630?

Did anyone else receive the email from VCS this morning at 0630 regarding Gay Pride Month and veterans united for equality trying to peddle Pride Gear on MEMORIAL DAY. Not a single mention of this day itself, just the wares for pride tomorrow.

I nearly threw my computer across the room. Look, Pride is awesome, you do you, but that is tomorrow. Today is sacred, and the last group I expected to receive an email from like that on THIS day was from VCS. Look, I get they are trying to peddle their wares to bring funds into the VA, but today is not the day for an organization that represents the VA to do anything other than keep it sacred.

Chain stores do chain store things, and the ball of "sales" and the almighty dollar will always keep rolling...but the VA and VCS took a little misstep on this one for me. This day is very difficult for a lot of people, the VA should know that, they see the statistics.

I called them out for raising prices across the board, during the pandemic! Their response was something to the extent about their costs going up because they were selling less, bla, bla. They subsequently dropped them back down. At least on some things. This was on meals in the actual cafeteria though, not the store.
Just pitiful IMO to beat down those working on the front lines and the vets getting treated during a pandemic. Classless. Same as this shit.
