I have a Surefire FA556-212 can that I use quite frequently for various AR's. I was thinking of running some .22LR's through it. Anyone have any experience with this? Any measurable difference?

You don't want to run rimfire thru a centerfire can. Rimfire is extremely dirty, and you can screw/gunk up your baffles. Manufacturers even recommend to not run rimfire thru centerfire can.

I tried it just to see, it was not much better at all. Once you are at about 1x6 inches, increasing the volume does not matter that much.
