hi!

I need a price check....
on M1911 (not A1) that has matching numbers, original finish (about 80%) and in perfect working order....I will check if there is a matching holster

I do remember there was mention of a M1911 in an older issue of American rifleman but it is sadly not available to me anymore....

NOTE 1: this is not for a sell/buy case. it is for curiosity purposes...
NOTE 2: I will have to check with the guy on the control of the speciments if he allows posting pics here...

THANK YOU!

I am not a total guru on it, but like the WWII 1911A1's they were contracted out too. The BB I have shows Colt, North American Arms Company, Remington-UMC, Springfield Armory....then you have the US Navy and US Marine Corps versions, ones produced outside of the US like the Briish Series, British RAF rework, AJ Savage, Norwegian Trial etc....
The values on the Colts depends on the year and condition. Ranging from $6-700 to $5200. Then you have to check to see if it has been arsenaled.
