Sidearms & Scatterguns Anyone have a Beretta APX Combat?

I have the regular APX full size. It is a very good pistol and I have been enjoying it immensely. It seems made for +p ammo. Anything that runs faster shoots lights out in this thing. Current diet of Winchester 124g NATO and S&B 115 FMJs.

Trigger is pretty solid with almost no take up on reset. It makes running this gun fast very easy. Sites are good not great but are tough as nails and will allow belt racks of the slide with no fear. It shoots a little low and confirmed by 4 other competent shooters. The big , easy to acquire front site may be the culprit but it is easy to make that adjustment and after 500+ rds I don't even notice I am adjusting anymore when compared to my other pistols. Grip is awesome. Feels natural and like it was meant for my hand. Which is funny since the other shooters said the same thing. 3 different backstraps allow you to customize to preference. I am trying all three and seeing which ends up being best overall.

I don't have one, but I've inspected a standard model in the store. Reminded me of a Glock grip with a different backstrap profile and angle. Usually, I'm not a fan of finger ridges but they aren't a drawback on the APX in my opinion. Arguably a better frame design for CC due to being a bit more "melted" in the angles, trigger like a VP9 or PPQ but with stronger reset, better slide purchase for racking. The Combat has an RMR/reflex mount I believe, which the PX4, VP9, PPQ, or standard Glock models do not AFAIK. For the price, I doubt you can really beat it for a striker fired suppressor host. I've heard there are a few triggers you could upgrade to if you fancy going a bit more high speed. Personally, I like the idea of a PPQ with a Tornado Technologies threaded barrel a bit more, but it would also cost a little bit more and wouldn't have a factory RMR mount. Like I said, for the money.

The only thing I did not like about it was the barrel hole in the slide is a bit off center of the bore. Doubt it matters at all, if anything Beretta did it for a reason, but it didn't really jive with me based on looks and general ignorance to whatever advantage it might grant.
