For a pistol length and a can I would think 6.5 grendel makes more sense. Cheaper to build, ammo cheaper, lighter, smaller. What happens to your can when all that unburned powder ignites inside it? I'm not trying to be a dick. I am curious if the creedmoor case capacity/powder is wasted at a certain point when the barrel is to short with factory ammo. You could always find the point of diminished returns with hand loads I guess.
