Does anyone have any experience with the XS XTI offset iron sights? The look fast and simple for short range engagements.

I have CSATs on my carbines and Big Dots on several handguns. XS makes quality kit. That said, this looks like something that would hang on gear, catch on a door frame or cause other hindrances.

If you try it out and it works, it would be interesting to hear back.

I kinda thought they looked lower profile and less prone to snags than some of the other offset sight out there. Not to mention AR's are covered in things that can snag anyway (forward assists, front sight posts, slings, vertical grips, scope mount bolts, flashlights, etc.) I figured a couple little things like that wouldn't make it any worse.

Most other offset irons are either fixed A2 style sights, and I really don't need that much precision or adjustment out of a CQB sight, and all the others are flip-ups which mean they'll probably be folded down when you really need it. I do like the looks of the KAC Micro offset sights due to their low profile, but the $300 price tag is a bit of a turn off...

Have a deer break out of the brush at 75 yards, or better yet, have somebody start shooting at you, and let me know how the whole point and shoot method works out of ya
