On original SH.com, 'pre-Scout' . is there anyone who remembers this ?
There was a member telling a story about 'him' on duty doing presidential detail ( i think Ford's term ? ) . story In which involved something of arrival/waiting for the potus and a tray of Candy Bars . story involving a Marine doing guard at same time in the room . and the starving Marine eating one of the candy bars (not knowing) they were laid-out specifically for the president .

Anyway, is there anyone here who knows the Member who was telling story ? . Reason I am asking is because . I believe I talked to his candy bar eating Marine, and him telling me this exact same story but from the opposite end .

We had two pretty solid members who were on the SS Details... odds are with all the social media monitoring, they will not post.

I do remember one of them, when the transition from Bush to Obama was happening a few people here said something and one of the SS guys was called in the office and they had transcripts from here.

So odds of people commenting today are slim to none
