Gunsmithing Anyone know a good M1A bedding gunsmith?

I have a friend in Colorado (Brad) who just got a used McMillan fiberglass stock for him NM M1A. He's having trouble finding a smith that can bed his M1A into the stock and have less than a 6 month turnaround.

I suggested he do it himself but he's worried about screwing up the stock.

Any suggestions? Contact info and Website would be a plus for me to forward to Brad.

I did it once a while ago. It isn't too bad. I did chip my walnut stock on receiver removal, but the wood was fairly weak where it happened. I doubt that would even be a worry with the McMillan. It happened on mine because of very rough cuts on the M1A receiver underside that bedding liked to flow in to. I'm going to be doing it again soon on a rather beefy fiberglass stock (with Steel-Bed). I think I learned all the mistakes so I should be good to go this time. It is a good deal more involved than a regular bolt receiver, but a little common sense, reading some books, and asking others (especially at TFL) will help him do it well if he decides to do it himself.
