Anyone KNOW if a 6.8 SPC bolt will take a Grendel?

Wondering if the PPC sized Grendel will fit the smaller diameter round's bolt face (w/o opening it up) in say a Rem 700 since the two rounds are very close?

If someone has both rounds on hand, and a 6.8 SPC bolt rifle to check I would love to know.

There is a 6.8mm Remington LTR on sale on the boards right now. May be they can tell you.

used a 7.62X39 CZ bolt gun to convert to 6.5 Grendel with no problems

6.8 SPC case head is nominal 0.422". 6.5 Grendel is nominal 0.455. A tad of opening would be wise and could be done during truing work.
