Anyone know of anything else like this?

Re: Anyone know of anything else like this?

The Eagle/Noveske pack is certainly smaller and more "discreet" than others on the market...but let's face it, the Eberlestock packs weren't designed to be small or discreet, but were purpose-built with other ideas in mind.

I'll be interested to see what their price is on this when they are up and running. Anybody seen any projected costs or pre-production reviews on these yet?

Re: Anyone know of anything else like this?

i know the Eberlestock bags were not meant for discreetness, and that thing was bad ass when i needed to Lug my evil "sniper rifle" around. Now i dont have my bolt gun, and like i said before, it completely swallowed my AR. that thing is just too bulky to me. especially to carry around a carbine in

Re: Anyone know of anything else like this?

I thought I saw this bag being sold last year for ~$175, not sure why they put it on hold. Made me curious so I used my google-fu and came across some hits on it, funny one on an M4 forum where they were tearing it apart...like everyone in the US knew the Noveske logo which made it "scream" concealed carry....

I like this one a little better than the sneaky bag:

Only $50 bucks! Just big enough, that helps you resist the temptation to overload it. Quick-detach belt clip and has thigh and shoulder straps. Wear like sub-load. Stays put, doesn't flop around. Comes with 2 shotshell cards. Holds 4 AR mags or 2 AR mags and 2 shotshell cards plus 3 pistol mags. Will also take a full size pistol instead if you get the pistol holder.

I load mine out with a M-9 pistol, (3) 15 rd. pistol mags and either (2) 15 rd. shotshell cards or (2) 30 rd. P-Mags and a fixed blade knife. Just grap your choice of long gun and you're good to go. You can actually fight out of this bag. Not as convienant as a full-on 'battle belt' but it's MUCH less threatening in a civilian environment.

Re: Anyone know of anything else like this?

The major problem of Noveske's first release of the bag was that it did not fit a 16" upper into it. This is out of Sheri's mouth when I called about ordering it a long time back. Glad she did.

The new backpack definitely looks better than the old one. I believe I heard Eagle was their manufacturer, but don't hold me to that.
