I just recently bought an FN-PBR 20" hvy bbl in .308 and I'm looking for a decent scope for around $500 w/ illuminated mil dot reticle . Has anyone here bought or owed a "Dark Ops" or a "Konus" scope ? Any suggestions would be appreciated also .

I'm easy, Coors light! Look on the Optics for sale section frequently. Much better options used, is illuminated that important to you?
Do yourself a favor and get a used or new 4.5-14X buckmaster or monarch.

+1 on the Nikon, had a 6-18 buckmasters for years, they are also repeatable, decent glass and inexpensive,if you pay the right price, you can probably sell it for what you paid when you decide to upgrade.

An FN deserves better than some "Dark Ops" POS,I think Deadly said something about doing a hands on "Myth Busters" test on his CS scope.
