Suppressors Anyone own tried thompsonmachine.net suppressors?

Re: Anyone own tried thompsonmachine.net suppressors?

I have one of Richards early Zephyr .22 cans.

The price was right, at $99.00. I'm in Florida so no dealer transfer fee. Just drove down the road and picked it up. When he updated the core, Richard did mine for no charge. Can't say he would do that for everyone but he did me right for sure. (I think the update was only $35 at the time)

I like my Sparrow and Liberty Kodiak as they are both full auto rated. The Kodiak is built like a tank.

The Zephyr is well built & easy to take apart as long as you don't let it get too dirty. Still going strong. Still glad I got it.

Can't beat the Sparrow for ease of cleaning. It's easily my favorite.

I used their cans at the AAC Silencer shoot earlier this year. Seems to very well made and good price points. From my 1/2 hour with them they seem like a good buy.

I have used both the Zehpyr and the Zephyr XL. The XL is a 1.125" diameter and wicked quiet, especially for the money. The standard Zephyr isn't the quietest can, but then there is only one quietest, right? Both take down easily. A steel baffle stack would make cleaning in an ultrasonic possible, but would add weight and cost. They make a good product from what I have seen.

Re: Anyone own tried thompsonmachine.net suppressors?

I have a QMF in 45 on an HK pistol with about 8k through it. I had them build an extra long QMF in 45 for my KRISS super V with over 23k on it. I also have their uzi can that replaces the barrel nut - I can't remember the model number but other than it being really big it has worked well over the 5k or so I've used it.

All are good cans, and I'd buy from them again, but I'm not impressed with their ability to take orders it respond quickly to customers.

They can be hard to reach. I think it's just Richard there most of the time. I did meet Brooks once when I picked up my .22 can.
