I said "Walkman" to a 20-something not too long ago and they stared at me. I explained it was replaced by the "Discman" and got a faint glimmer that they remembered seeing one when they were a kid.
I'm glad I didn't start with LPs or 8 Tracks.

I guess it's all relative though, because I have no idea how to work an iPod.

Yes. It is all relative, but you should pick up an iPod. They really are head-and-shoulders above their predecessors!
