Rifle Scopes Anyone running a VX-R Hog on an AR?

I know it is calibrated for 30 cal but was curious if anyone is running it on a 223/5.56 rifle. I like the capped turrets over the VX-R Patrol and it is $100 cheaper. Thanks in advance.

223 and 308 are surprisingly similar out to a reasonable range.

Yes you will find that the heavier 223 69-77 grn with have similar D.O.P.E as the 308s out to about 500ish yards.
