Anyone SBR a LMT MWS?

It won't end up a SBR but I am thinking about cutting a 16" CL barrel back about 3" so it would be 16.2" OAL with a QD flash hider for my suppressor.

LMT does SBR the MWS but I haven't gotten any details on barrel length.

Has anyone tried this???

I think Trident had some pics of one and may have been considering doing it too.

I'm not sure of the details but it was pretty bad-ass looking though. I'd imagine it's a beast.

At 2:14, there is an example of a prototype LMT MWS with a 13.5" barrel. It seems to work quite well. If you have one of the more recent MWS with the double ejector I think this is definitely possible.

That is what I want and do have the dual ejector bolt. I wonder if they used a larger gas port?
